BRIDGNORTH 10K
Our exciting 10k race is taking place on Sunday 20th October 2024.
In preparation for the day, here are the final details that you need to be aware of.
The RACE starts and finishes at the Town Hall in Bridgnorth High Street.
CAR PARKING is available around the town, in Pay and Display car parks on Innage Lane, Listley St and Old Smithfield. All car parks are within 5 minutes walk of the start. A map of the locations is shown below.
REGISTRATION will be under the Town Hall, in Bridgnorth High Street, for collection of race numbers and will open at 9.00am and close at 10.30am.
The race will START at 11:00am.
You are advised to write your name, next of kin and their contact number, together with any medical conditions you may have on the back of your race number. Race numbers must be worn on your front and not obscured in any way. The wearing of head sets / personal music devices is completely forbidden.
There are no changing or bag storage facilities so please come ready to run.
Public TOILETS are situated in Innage Lane Car Park and at Listley Street car park. Both require payment by card. No cash accepted.
For everyone’s SAFETY, please always obey the instructions of the marshals and keep to the pavement wherever possible and do not run in the road. You will be running on open roads, so always keep to the left hand side of the road and on the pavement unless otherwise directed by a marshal. No dogs are allowed on the course.
FIRST RESPONDERS will be in attendance in case of any emergencies.
There will be a manned WATER STATION near to the 5km point.
All finishers will receive a medal and a t-shirt as you cross the line.
PRIZES will be given to the first, second and third placed Male and first, second and third placed Female finishers. Prize giving will be completed at around 12:30pm in front of the Town Hall.
Electronic timing will be provided by StuWeb race timing and Race RESULTS will be available on the StuWeb website (http://www.stuweb.co.uk/)
PHOTOGRAPHS will be taken by Nick Goodwin and will be available after the race on http://www.sportpics.co.uk.
